In honor of Queen Elizabeth II, the federal government has mandated that all flags at home and in foreign missions fly at half-staff.
Rauf Aregbesola, the interior minister, issued the order on Friday, September 9.
On September 11 and September 12, the flags will be flown at half-staff in memory of the late queen. The declaration reads:
“We commiserate with the government and the people of UK and all the affected people of the Commonwealth and the global community.
“The Queen is dead, long live the King.”
