According to his spokesman, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was engaged in an automobile accident.
In the Ukrainian city of Kyiv, a passenger automobile collided with the presidential vehicle and his escort, according to a brief statement from Spokesman Sergii Nykyforov.
“The president was examined by a doctor, no serious injuries were found,” he said.
Police are looking into the accident, and the driver of the car that struck the procession was treated on the spot and taken away in an ambulance.

On September 14, President Zelensky, 44, visited the strategically important Ukrainian city of Izyum, which had been reclaimed.
He oversaw a flag-raising ceremony and congratulated the soldiers who took part in the quick counterattack against the Russian occupation.
